An illustration based on a missed connection posted on Kijiji (see original ad below). Years after their chance encounter at IKEA, the two individuals are now a couple. They are at an IKEA again, this time shopping together for their shared home. It is implied by the original post that one person was walking in the wrong direction; they are now both walking “against the grain” as onlookers glance back in annoyance. The illustration is done with an axonometric view and clean lines to imitate the style of IKEA assembly instructions.
